07/15 IRCC 确认了：

1.  2026年父母、祖父母团聚移民不会发出新的邀请；

2. 移民局只会继续处理之前已经收到的此类申请，并计划今年批准15000份；

3. 不仅邀请被暂停，入池的申请（ interest to sponsor forms）也仍然暂停中；之前的几次仍然是从2020年的池子里邀请的；

IRCC 表明该项目的暂停是和移民局从整体上调整和缩减移民数量有关；
